Baife Charles
Charles is a dedicated mental health officer with over 12 years of experience working with vulnerable communities. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Guidance and Counseling from Kyambogo University. His expertise lies in supporting various groups, including orphans, at-risk youth, teenage mothers, children with disabilities, and adolescents both in and out of school.
As a mental health professional, his work is comprehensive and community-focused. He educates communities and schools on mental health awareness, provides counseling and guidance, and responds to crises, such as suicidal threats.
He also collaborates with teachers and parents to create supportive environments for children. In addition, Charles conducts financial literacy sessions and helps manage Village Savings and Loans Associations (VSLAs).
Charles is passionate about empowering individuals to improve their lives. He believes that fostering a safe and supportive environment for emotional well-being is essential for building self-reliance and resilience.
