Nakirya Brenda Doreen

Managing Director and Co-Founder

Brenda has a Master of Public Health Disaster Management and a Bachelor’s degree of Community Psychology from Makerere University. She worked with Infectious Disease Research Collaboration as a Home-based Tracking Counselor and she was the Team Leader in 2015 while there. She has participated in research from different institutions. She also serves as the Vice Chairperson on the Women Right’s Initiative Board.

Brenda has been working with CCUg since its inception.Her passion is to reach out to the grass root communities and create change. She firmly believes that working together, individuals can make a real difference in the communities where they live and work. That belief informs the CCUg mission: “working hand in hand for a better life” and drives our ongoing efforts on behalf of children, women and youths in the areas we serve.

In her free time, Brenda loves music, reading, swimming and cooking.
